The Seymour public school system boasts an 87% average of students proceeding onto higher education or the military. It is comprised of a high school, a middle school, and several elementary schools with nearly $100 million invested into the school system over the past 15 years. Additionally there are parochial, technical and adult education schools in the area. Fall Festivals: The Pumpkin Festival can bring in nearly 30,000 residents, tourists, spectators, and consumers to enjoy the many festivities, cultural foods and buying of goods through an annual tradition that continues to grow each year.
